I did some hacking on this blog, first thing you’ll probably notice is a rather commanding “you should follow me on twitter here” statement on the front page and end of the posts. UX has showed this has the highest click through rate.
Than i installed some SEO stuff, this should take care of search engines having only once copy of my content. This on the other hand adds things ala meta keywords from tags.
I also added two buttons one for trivial sharing via reddit and twitter.
Last but not least i installed the disqus plug in, that thing is great! Has a button from importing existing comments, provides ability to comment via facebook connect, twitter connect, openid, disqus or none of those. What is your excuse for not commenting now?
Any suggestions what other plugins i should try?
